Oftentimes here in Pittsburgh the skies are overcast and rain looms. Pittsburgh is said to have more overcast days than Seattle, and while the weather can be depressing, the challenge is to find hope and beauty even with the dark and gloomy skies.
Today while dodging raindrops, I captured beauty in my garden. The flowers seem to embrace the rain, and the garden has an added layer of beauty with the drops of rain.
Finding inspiration from the beauty of the flowers in my garden, I wrote a haiku poem.
Rain gently lands on
petals yearning for sunlight
beauty in nature.
There is sometime truly awe inspiring in the beauty of growing and blooming flowers. Their beauty even in rainy and gloomy conditions gives hope.
